The adult version of the kit is priced at £75 (approximately $100), and the authentic strip is £120 (around $160).

Celtic have gone big for their latest kit launch, calling on some club legends to help unveil their sharp new black away strip, a modern twist on the beloved 'bumblebee' design of the 1990s.

The Hoops dropped their 2025-26 Adidas away kit on July 15, and the promo video didn't disappoint, featuring club icons like Henrik Larsson, John Collins, and Charlie Mulgrew to set the tone.

The fresh design sticks to a sleek black base, with razor-thin green horizontal pinstripes giving it a clean, retro feel. The Adidas badge, Celtic crest, signature three stripes, and other accents all pop in vivid green, staying true to the club's roots.

Built on the Adidas Teamgeist 25-26 template, the shirt also showcases the signature collar design, bringing a touch of classic football kit nostalgia into the mix.

The full look is completed with black shorts and socks to match the top's streamlined aesthetic.

As for the price? Fans will have to dig deep, the standard shirt comes in at £75, while the authentic match version is tagged at £120. Those looking to gear up in the full kit will be set back a hefty £185.

Celtic's third kit for the 2025-26 season unveiled on June 27, 2025, in an off-white shade, features pale green detailing inspired by tie-dye techniques for a fresh take on the Hoops. The orange piping and a bold clover have off-white, which is a brand new direction for the club and could result in a really eye-catching design.

The kit is designed to pay tribute to Celtic's Irish rootsk, inspired by the Irish tricolour flag; and the club crest is displayed in a bold, embroidered design.

The Adidas Celtic FC 2025-26 third shirt will cost £75 ($103) for the adult version, with the authentic strip costing £120 ($164).

Durham secure Division Two title despite D'Oliveira resistance

Worcestershire scrap for bonus points in bid to claim second promotion spot

ECB Reporters Network21-Sep-2023Durham clinched the LV=Insurance County Championship Division Two title after bowling out Worcestershire shortly before the close of a rain-affected third day at New Road.Promotion had been secured for Durham last week without bowling a ball when Leicestershire failed to secure a batting point against Sussex at Hove. They required a maximum of five points heading into this game to clinch top spot. The three secured for dismissing Worcestershire for 313, plus the ones dropped by the home side for batting, ensured they finished in pole position.Durham will be back in Division One for the first time since 2016 when they were relegated over financial issues. Scott Borthwick was a member of that Durham side and fittingly is now the captain on their return to the top flight. It has been a superb team effort and they have provided the division’s leading run-scorer in Alex Lees (1284) and top wicket-taker in Ben Raine (54). Raine and Bas de Leede both picked up three wickets while Worcestershire club captain Brett D’Oliveira provided the sternest resistance. His efforts helped claim two precious batting points in the battle for the second promotion spot. Many home supporters also had an eye on events at the Uptonsteel County Ground as nearest rivals Leicestershire strengthened their grip against Yorkshire. But the fate of Worcestershire remains in their own hands and their prime objective now will be to collect as many bowling bonus points as possible. They resumed their first innings on 104 for 1 after a second day washout and Jake Libby cover drove the fifth ball of the day from Vishwa Fernando for four to complete an 85-ball half-century. But on 57 the opener was undone by a delivery from Raine which nipped away and caught behind by Ollie Robinson.Azhar Ali collected three boundaries in quick succession off Raine while new batter Jack Haynes looked in good nick and raced to 35 off 47 balls with six boundaries. But the momentum switched in Durham’s favour as Paul Coughlin struck in successive overs and also bowled the delivery which led to Adam Hose retiring injured.Haynes was undone by a delivery angled back in and lost his off stump and then Azhar gave his wicket away in tame fashion when he slapped a delivery straight to cover. In between Hose was struck on the left wrist by Coughlin and was replaced in the middle by Kashif Ali.Immediately after Azhar’s dismissal, rain drove the players from the field for a three-and-a-quarter hour break.Kashif and new batter D’Oliveira scored freely against Raine and Coughlin during the evening session. D’Oliveira cover drove Coughlin to the ropes and then steered him down to third man to bring up the 200 in the 54th over. The partnership was worth 69 in 14 overs when Kashif nicked Bas de Leede to first slip and he then trapped fellow Netherlands international Logan van Beek lbw. But D’Oliveira continued to score freely and brought up his half-century from 58 balls with seven fours. He had made 63 off 75 balls when bowled by a fine delivery from Matt Parkinson which spun sharply. Raine wrapped up the innings by dismissing Ben Allison and Dillon Pennington in the space of four balls to cue the start of the celebrations amongst the Durham players.Openers Lees and Michael Jones survived four overs before bad light halted play with three overs remaining.

"From what I hear" – Ex-scout reveals two Sunderland prospects could leave

A Premier League club are targeting two Sunderland players in the summer transfer window, according to former scout Mick Brown.

Sunderland likely heading for playoffs after dip in form

The Black Cats picked up a hugely important victory away to Sheffield Wednesday on Friday evening, aiding their Championship promotion chances in the process. Sunderland sit fourth in the table with 11 matches remaining, but there is an eight-point gap to make up on second-place Sheffield United if they want to seal automatic promotion, so a place in the playoffs is looking increasingly likely.

Sunderland'sJobeBellingham

When it comes to the Black Cats’ immediate transfer business, Jewison Bennette has been linked with a move away from the Stadium of Light. FC LNZ Cherkasy are believed to be showing an interest in the 20-year-old, with the Ukrainian transfer window not closing until March 11th.

Looking ahead to the summer, Sunderland have been backed to sign Hansa Rostock centre-back Ahmet Gurleyen, with the 25-year-old capped by Germany at both Under-20 and Under-19 level in the past. Regis Le Bris could see him as a great option to bolster his defence, especially if his side seal promotion back to the Premier League.

Sunderland brace for Crystal Palace approach for star youngsters

Speaking to Football Insider, Brown claimed that Crystal Palace are interested in signing Sunderland pair Chris Rigg and Jobe Bellingham this summer.

“There are a few players they’ve had scouts looking at. What Palace will do, and they’ve got a good record of doing it, is they will be keeping a close eye on the Championship and the young players in that division. They have to make sure they scout these players thoroughly and from what I hear, Crystal Palace do that.

“These players like the couple of Sunderland lads, Chris Rigg, Jobe Bellingham and people like him are on their radar – and the lad from Southampton, Dibling. It’s a big part of their plan and they’ve had success with it before. You look at what they’ve done with players like Eze, Guehi, Olise.”

Sunderland 'sJobeBellinghamin action

In truth, it is no great surprise that there is Premier League interest in Rigg and Bellingham, considering they are arguably two of the most exciting players in the Championship currently. That said, it doesn’t make the prospect of losing them both any easier to accept, and it should act as motivation for Sunderland in their promotion quest, in terms of enhancing their chances of keeping hold of them.

Rigg and Bellingham have been integral figures for the Black Cats, starting a combined 59 matches in the Championship this season, scoring four times apiece in the process, providing a mixture of guile and work-rate at the heart of the midfield.

If this is to be the duo’s final season in a Sunderland shirt, the most important thing is that the club receive good money for both, ensuring that they can replace them with top-quality options instead.

Man City now preparing big offer to sign £15k-p/w attacker who Pep loves

Manchester City are now preparing a big offer for an attacker who has a “left foot made of gold”, with Pep Guardiola believed to be a big fan, according to a report.

Pep planning summer rebuild

Man City have started to show some more promising signs in the Premier League over the past couple of months, defeating Newcastle United 4-0 at the weekend, but they are still far from their best.

Guardiola’s side trail league leaders Liverpool by 16 points, and the 5-1 defeat against Arsenal at the beginning of the month is symbolic of their significant drop-off this season, which has been exacerbated by Rodri’s season-ending ACL injury.

As such, despite a window of heavy spending in January, Guardiola is now planning even more signings for the summer, setting his sights on a number of players who could replace some of the old guard.

With Kevin De Bruyne’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, Paulo Dybala has been identified as a potential target, while City are also eyeing Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso, with Pep keen to strengthen in the full-back areas.

According to reports from Spain, the Sky Blues also have a new target on their shortlist, with Guardiola said to be ‘in love with’ Como attacking midfielder Nico Paz, who has been very impressive in the Serie A this season.

Paz’s vision and eye for goal has caught the eye of the reigning Premier League champions, who are now considering a move in the summer transfer window, with a big offer being prepared.

Como'sNicoPazin action with Juventus' Manuel Locatelli

Guardiola views the Como star as a player with enormous potential, so he could personally ask the City board to make a huge offer in the summer.

Paz starring in the Serie A

The former Real Madrid man has been enjoying a fantastic debut campaign in the Serie A, with six goals and four assists to his name in 24 appearances, having predominantly featured in attacking midfield, although he started at centre-forward last time out.

While the Argentina international’s attacking quality has caught City’s eye, there are signs he is a well-rounded midfielder, as he ranks highly across a number of key defensive metrics over the past year, when compared to his positional peers.

Football talent scout Jacek Kulig has lauded the £15k-p/w attacker as having a “left foot made of gold”, and his performances this season indicate he could now be ready to take the next step in his career by moving to one of Europe’s top clubs.

It is clear to see why Guardiola is such a big fan of the 20-year-old, and with the City manager keen to drive down the average age of his squad at the end of the season, Paz could be an ideal signing.

WBBL round-up: Schutt claims record haul, Perry shines, rain saves Heat, Kershaw eliminates Scorchers

Adelaide Strikers 4 for 144 (Wolvaardt 75*, Darlington 2-36) beat Sydney Thunder 118 (Beaumont 37, Schutt 6-19) by 26 runsMegan Schutt became the first bowler in WBBL history to claim six wickets in a match while Laura Wolvaardt produced a classy 75 not out to help Adelaide Strikers sew up second spot and a home final on the final day of the season against Sydney Thunder at North Sydney Oval.Needing a win to jump past Brisbane Heat on the table, avoid the Eliminator, and secure hosting rights for the Challenger, Schutt and Wolvaardt delivered the goods for Strikers and denied retiring Thunder captain Rachael Haynes a fairytale exit from the professional game. The former Australia batter instead received a guard of honour and a standing ovation from both teams at the end of the match.Chasing 145 for victory, Thunder were in a position to cause an upset. After losing Haynes for just 6 in her final WBBL innings, Tammy Beaumont had cruised to 37 and was joined by the dangerous Chloe Tryon with Thunder needing just 80 from 60 balls and seven wickets in hand.Beaumont was trapped lbw by Jemma Barsby two balls later. Tryon and Olivia Porter thumped two fours and two sixes in the next five overs to reduce the equation to 53 off 30. But Schutt extinguished all hopes taking three wickets in the 16th over. She returned to pick up two more in the last, having earlier bowled Phoebe Litchfield, to finish with the best figures in WBBL history of 6 for 19.None of it was possible without Wolvaardt’s one-woman show with the bat. She batted through the innings after Strikers were sent in making 75 not out from 56 balls as Strikers posted 4 for 144. She struck 12 boundaries in an exceptional display. Deandra Dottin and Madeline Penna were the only other batters to reach double figures but both struck at unusually low strike-rates.Strikers will now face the winner of the Eliminator between Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes. The Eliminator will be played at Karen Rolton Oval in Adelaide on Wednesday night with the winner to face Strikers at the same venue on Thursday night. The winner of the Challenger will play Sydney Sixers at North Sydney Oval in Saturday’s final.Ellyse Perry sweeps behind square•Getty Images

A stunning allround show from skipper Ellyse Perry has put the WBBL on notice as Sydney Sixers confirmed their status as the team to beat for the title after a comfortable eight-wicket win over Hobart Hurricanes at North Sydney Oval.Perry made 56 not out off 39 balls to help guide her side through the chase after earlier claiming 2 for 16 with the ball including 12 dot balls in her four overs to help restrict Hurricanes to just 156. Sixers had already qualified top to host the final and Hurricanes had already confirmed a place in the finals after Perth Scorchers lost earlier on Sunday. They had the chance to clinch second spot on the table and avoid the third versus fourth Eliminator with a win.But Perry and Ash Gardner snuffed out all hopes with a rollicking unbeaten 88-run stand in just 9.3 overs to mow down the target with seven balls to spare. Gardner finished 45 not out from 29 balls. She did survive one nervous moment when she thought she was caught behind off Nicola Carey but the ball just failed to carry to Lizelle Lee behind the stumps.Perry and Gardner struck 11 fours and two sixes between them as Hurricanes struggled to contain their mix of power and finesse. They had come together after Alyssa Healy and Suzie Bates had given Sixers a solid start but they still required more than eight runs an over in the final 10 overs of the chase.Earlier, Kate Peterson took 3 for 31 alongside Perry’s miserly spell to restrict Hurricanes after they threatened to post a big number. Peterson knocked over the dangerous trio of Lee, Elyse Villani and Carey. Nicole Bolton chimed in with the important wicket of Mignon du Preez who had played well for her 38 from 29 balls. Hurricanes were well poised at 3 for 88 in the 12th over but lost 7 for 68 in the final 50 balls of the innings.Hurricanes will now travel to Adelaide to play the cut-throat Eliminator against Heat on Wednesday night.Danni Wyatt made 52 off just 24 balls•Getty Images

A late downpour in Moe handed Brisbane Heat a point and denied Melbourne Stars the chance to pull off a remarkable run chase to finish off their season.Stars were 1 for 49 after just 3.5 overs chasing 105 in a game that had been reduced to 10-overs-a-side thanks to the earlier rain that had affected the Melbourne Renegades Perth Scorchers match in the double-header.Lauren Winfield-Hill and Sophie Reid made a blistering start smashing four fours and a six between them as the run-rate neared 13 runs per over in the reduced powerplay. But the moment Reid fell to Amelia Kerr the rain settled in and ended the match leaving the two teams to share one point each.Earlier, Danni Wyatt made a stunning half-century smashing 52 off just 24 balls to underpin Heat’s total of 5 for 104 in the 10-over sprint after being sent into bat. She struck seven fours and two sixes in a whirlwind innings before Sophie Day and Sasha Moloney pegged things back with two wickets apiece.Stars finished in sixth spot on the WBBL table with five wins and three no results. Heat slipped to third and will have to win three straight games away from home to win the title.Erica Kershaw hammered 34 not out off 18 balls•Getty Images

A stunning cameo from Melbourne Renegades left-hander Erica Kershaw has ended Perth Scorchers hopes of back-to-back WBBL titles in an eight-over-a-side rain-affected clash in Moe.Kershaw smacked 34 not out off just 18 balls to help Renegades chase down a Duckworth-Lewis-Stern adjusted target of 57 with six wickets in hand and three balls to spare after they had slumped to 4 for 15 in the fourth over. The loss means Scorchers will finish fifth on the table and miss the finals just a year after claiming the title with a very similar squad.Scorchers could have stayed alive if they had won but did need other results to go their way with all eight teams playing their final qualifying game of the season on Sunday. Scorchers were in control of the game after Lilly Mills claimed 3 for 9, including two in the first over of the chase. Chamari Athapaththu and Hayley Matthews both holed out trying to attack the offspinner. She also claimed Courtney Webb just four balls after Josephine Dooley fell to Alana King in the third over to leave Renegades in deep trouble. But Kershaw played a fearless knock pounding five fours and two sixes. She relentlessly attacked the spinners over midwicket and carved the seamers square through the off side to muscle her way to the target. Carly Leeson provided steady support at the other end in a 44-run unbeaten stand.Earlier, Scorchers’ innings was cut short by rain after the match had initially been reduced to a 16-overs-a-side game due to a wet outfield. Scorchers were cruising at 2 for 46 with Sophie Devine and Marizanne Kapp just starting to roll following the early losses of Beth Mooney and Maddy Green. Mooney had fallen for a first-ball duck to Ella Hayward while Shabnim Ismail castled Green in the fourth over. But rain intervened before Scorchers had a chance to accelerate and ended the innings leaving them to defend an adjusted target of 57.Renegades finished seventh, with four wins from 14 games.

Tasmania have victory in sight despite Manenti's sparkling display

Peter Siddle took his match haul to eight wickets before the visiting openers moved along smoothly in the chase

Another Tim Ward half-century and more Peter Siddle heroics have Tasmania positioned for victory against South Australia in the Sheffield Shield.Chasing 234 to win, they were 0 for 104 at stumps on day three at Adelaide Oval. Ward, who made 82 in the first innings, was unbeaten 60 and Caleb Jewell is on 43.The runs flowed freely for the opening duo, reaching their century stand in 27 overs, with Ward striking eight fours and one six after Tasmania’s bowlers earlier struggled to wrap up SA’s innings.A hard-hitting half-century from debutant Ben Manenti revived SA from 7 for 105 to 252 all out, with Manenti unbeaten on 85.The first-gamer, batting at No. 9, followed his valuable 59 in the first innings with more runs, striking six fours and three sixes. His feats came with handy assistance from Wes Agar (33) and Nathan McAndrew (35).Veteran quick Siddle had ripped through SA’s top order – at one stage he had 4 for 13 from eight overs. The 37-year-old finished with 4 for 45, following his 4 for 51 in the first innings.Siddle counted the prized scalp of Test batsman Travis Head, caught at short leg for a duck, among his victims.Beau Webster chipped in while SA opener Jake Weatherald was the seventh man out, making 52 from 115 balls.

Celtic plotting last-gasp move to sign "excellent" £8m Kyogo replacement

After bidding farewell to Kyogo Furuhashi, Celtic have now reportedly turned their attention towards a fresh attacking option in a deal worth £8m for Brendan Rodgers ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.

Celtic transfer news

Having initially been on course for a quiet transfer window, Celtic have enjoyed a frantic final couple of weeks, resulting in the shock return of Jota. The Portuguese winger officially completed his return less than two years after swapping Scotland for Al-Ittihad and arrives with plenty of making up to do at Celtic Park.

Meanwhile, as one attacking star arrived, another headed for the exit door with Kyogo completing a mid-season switch to Ligue 1 side Rennes, where he will replace Jota. In a swap that suits all parties, it’s Jota who Celtic hope will hit the ground running and pick up where he left off.

Speaking for the first time since returning, the winger told Celtic’s official website: “It’s very nostalgic for me because it was such an amazing feeling and all the moments that I felt through my two seasons here, and I’m just delighted to be back. I’m really excited and I just can’t wait to start.

“The best thing in Glasgow, besides Celtic obviously, is the people, and I feel like I need a place with soul, where I feel at home. This is definitely something I was looking for, and I think there is no better match than Celtic.”

Celtic need to strengthen in one key position before the deadline

However, the returning star may not be the final incoming through the door ahead of Monday. According to Daily Record, Celtic are now plotting a last-minute move to sign David Strelec from Slovan Bratislava, who value their forward at £8m in the remaining days of the window.

"Excellent" Strelec would be a gamble

If reports are anything to go by, it seems that if it won’t be Mathias Kvistgaarden arriving in the current window, it may well be Strelec. But the 23-year-old would certainly be a gamble at £8m.

Whilst he has enjoyed a clinical campaign for Slovan Bratislava, scoring 15 goals in 35 games, it wasn’t so long ago that he was struggling at Serie B side Spezia, which should perhaps send alarm bells ringing for Celtic.

At this stage, whether Strelec is worth the gamble is a question that only Celtic can answer. After bidding farewell to Kyogo, there’s no doubt that they could do with an attacking addition, but if they are to splash out, it must be on a guaranteed goalscorer.

Meanwhile, despite his Serie B failure, Strelec earned the praise of football talent scout Jacek Kulig for his “excellent” work for Slovakia at Euro 2024 last summer, as he created his side’s goal against England.

With a matter of days remaining until the transfer window slams shut, Celtic must either take a gamble or look elsewhere for attacking options.
