The source of Kabir’s dissatisfaction with the club would appear to be their treatment of him during injury.Most pertinently, it could be argued that he was pressurised into playing when unfit and exacerbated pre-existing injuries. Whether giving a bowler an epidural and asking them to bowl equates to a breach of contract is debatable and may well be decided in a court room.If he does leave, it is thought that Hampshire are one of those clubs interested in talking to him. Whether they are still a Division One club at the end of the season remains to be seen, however. Though in the bottom two before the current match, the points they took on the first day moved them just above Sussex.

Leeds United may not have had the start to their second season back in the Premier League as they would have hoped based on their early results.

Injuries have also dampened their campaign so far with the likes of Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling and Robin Koch being out of action for significant periods.

With this in mind and the fact that the January transfer window is approaching, the Yorkshire club could be forced into bringing some new players in to help strengthen Marcelo Bielsa’s squad and get them away from the relegation zone.

One player that Leeds could secure the signing of in January that they were linked with over the summer is Cagliari right-midfielder Nahitan Nandez.

Recent reports from Calcio Mercato (via Leeds Live) have claimed that the Italian club would be prepared to sell Nandez for lower than his €36m (£30.5m) release clause.

If these claims are true, this could provide Victor Orta with a great opportunity to deliver Bielsa his dream transfer that they missed out on in the summer without having to pay as much as they originally thought they had to.

Since joining the Serie A club from Boca Juniors back in the 2019 summer transfer window, the 25-year-old, who is currently valued at £18m according to Transfermarkt, has made 85 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing nine assists in the process.

As well as showing how much of a versatile player he is by playing in a number of positions across the midfield and attack for Cagliari in Serie A this season, Nandez has also managed to highlight how much of a well-rounded player he is by racking up an average of 1.1 key passes per game as well as 2.1 tackles per game.

This backs up why Serie A expert Conor Clancy previously described Nandez as a “powerful” player that has “really good ball control.”

Taking all of this into account, if Leeds see an opportunity to work out a financially viable deal with the Italian club to bring Nandez to Elland Road in January, then they should be all over it, as the Uruguayan has shown he could be a solid addition to their squad and suited to the physical nature of the Premier League.

وبحسب خالد بن سيف الاعلامي الرياضي السعودي فإن إدارة الفريق الجداوي وضعت شرطًا أكبر من التأهل لدوري المحترفين، حتى تقبل بتعيين سييرا مدربًا للفريق الأول.

وتابع بن سيف أنه في حال وافق سييرا على هذا الشرط فسوف يصبح مدربًا للفريق الأهلاوي في الفترة المقبلة.

وكان سييرا، 53 عاما، تولى تدريب اتحاد جدة في الفترة من 2016 إلى 2018، ونجح في قيادة الاتحاد لتحقيق لقب كأس الملك صيف 2018، كما درب نادي الطائي في الموسم الماضي.

يذكر أن الراقي هبط لدوري الدرجة الأولى “دوري يلو” للمرة الأولى في تاريخه بعدما احتل المركز الخامس عشر في الدوري السعودي للمحترفين في الموسم الماضي.

Flocking to Twitter, a number of Manchester City fans are absolutely buzzing over a fresh contract update involving promising youngster James McAtee.

As the Sky Blues ended their Champions League Group A campaign top of the table, albeit with an underwhelming 2-1 defeat away to RB Leipzig to finish off, McAtee was one of five City starlets to be handed a place on the bench by Pep Guardiola in Germany.

However, McAtee is seen as one of many bright academy products to have come through recently at Eastlands, even drawing comparisons with club legend David Silva.

His contract situation remains a point of contention, though, with his current deal expiring in 2023, although it appears that some good news has emerged as City attempt to tie down their starlet.

According to the Daily Mail and reliable reporter Jack Gaughan, talks are now ‘progressing’ over fresh terms for the 19-year-old, coming shortly after he made his Premier League debut against Everton last month.

Understandably, in light of this news, it’s safe to say that lots of City supporters are buzzing over this update on one of their star products.

Shining at under-23 level this season as well, McAtee’s likeness to Silva is perhaps an indication of his sky-high potential as fans also witnessed the rise of fellow academy graduates Palmer and Phil Foden over the last year.

It appears that City’s state-of-the-art academy complex is finally nurturing the kind of top talent akin to famous institutes like La Masia, and the last thing the Sky Blues will want is a mass exodus of their gems.

Craig Kieswetter, the Somerset wicketkeeper-batsman, has been included in the England Performance Programme squad and will spend eight weeks training at the National Cricket Performance Centre in Loughborough and South Africa’s High Performance Centre in Pretoria in November and December.The programme involves 42 players who have been divided into groups according to their experience. Kieswetter will join 10 others in the B group, which comprises players with first-class experience with an estimated one to three years’ development, before potentially graduating to the England team.Kieswetter, part of the South African Under-19 squad for the World Cup in 2005-06, later shifted base to England, whom he will be eligible to represent from February 2010. He has been widely talked about in England domestic circles for his strong, clean striking, especially in the one-day game where he has formed a formidable opening partnership with Marcus Trescothick.He was the second-highest run-scorer for Somerset in the County Championship with 1242 runs at 59.14 with four hundred and seven fifties.

Se a política brasileira segue na mesma, o Campeonato Brasileiro repetiu o mantra. Nesta quarta, no duelo entre os líderes, Corinthians e Grêmio empataram em 0 a 0 e mantiveram em nove pontos a vantagem alvinegra.

Em Itaquera, a torcida corintiana não quis saber de diplomacia. Pediu “sangue no olho e tapa na orelha”, cantou o nome dos jogadores um a um e incentivou no jogo em que havia risco real do Brasileirão mudar de panorama se a distância para os gaúchos diminuísse. Havia pressão, mas não houve muito futebol. Teve chute de fora da área de Rodriguinho, teve batida cruzada de Edílson após passe de Luan, teve pedido de pênalti após corte de Geromel e teve cabeceio perigoso de Jô após cobrança de falta de Jadson. Só não teve gol.

O jogo começou muito disputado, mas rapidamente caiu na mesmice, com o Grêmio apostando nas jogadas laterais e o Timão tentando centralizar. E quem esquentou de verdade o duelo na Arena Corinthians foi o Grêmio. Após falta cometida por Fagner em Everton no lado esquerdo do ataque visitante, Edílson cobrou com maestria, mas a bola bateu no travessão de Cássio. Renato Gaúcho tentou agitar a partida com Jael, mas não era dia de gols. Para o Corinthians, bom resultado. Para o Grêmio, uma rodada a menos pelo sonho do título.

À espera do Santos, que pode diminuir para sete pontos a distância para a liderança no complemento da 29ª rodada, o Corinthians volta a jogar só dia 23, contra o Botafogo. O Grêmio, por sua vez, entra em campo no domingo, contra o Palmeiras.
